Privacy Policy
What Expert Honors collects, why, who it goes to, and what you can ask us to do about it. Written to describe how the site actually works rather than to cover every theoretical case.
Last Updated: August 12, 2026
Operator: Silent Rich LLC, a Delaware limited liability company registered to do business in Texas, doing business as Expert Honors.
1. Who We Are
experthonors.com is operated by Silent Rich LLC, a Delaware limited liability company registered to do business in Texas, doing business as Expert Honors. Silent Rich LLC is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.
Expert Honors supports several industry-specific recognition brands. Those brands are operated by the same legal entity rather than by separate corporations, which is why information can move between them for shared accounts, support, and fulfillment as described below.
2. Information You Provide
Account and profile information: name, email address, phone number, firm or organization, professional title, credentials, biography, photograph, logo, and links you choose to publish.
Nomination and submission information: the nominee’s details, your relationship to them, and any supporting material you submit. If you nominate someone else, you are providing their information to us and you represent that you are authorized to do so.
Order and fulfillment information: billing name, email, phone, shipping address, engraving or personalization text, and the products purchased. Payment card details go directly to our payment processor and are described in the Payments section.
Support, contact, and inquiry information: the content of messages you send us, including anything you choose to include in a free-text field.
Consent records: when you accept the Terms, agree to be contacted, or provide another consent, we record what you agreed to, the version of the document, and the date and time.
3. Information From Public and Third-Party Sources
We compile professional and organizational information from publicly available sources, including licensing and regulator databases, firm and company websites, professional biographies, news reporting, public records, and reputable third-party data providers.
This is how a professional directory works, and it means a profile about you may exist without you having submitted anything. Public information can be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. You can request correction or removal through the process in the Your Privacy Rights section.
4. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the site we and our analytics providers automatically receive technical information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, and interaction events such as clicks and form steps.
We also keep security and application logs, including error reports, which may contain the URL you were on and technical context about what failed.
These technologies load when the page loads. We do not currently operate a cookie consent banner or preference center, and we do not currently detect or act on Global Privacy Control signals automatically. We would rather say that plainly than describe a control that does not exist. Browser-level cookie controls and the opt-out mechanisms listed in the Cookies section remain available.
5. How We Use Information
To administer accounts, verify authority over a profile, and provide the services you request. To operate recognition programs, including nomination intake, eligibility review, editorial research, selection, and publication. To fulfill and support orders, including manufacturing personalized items and delivering digital assets.
To communicate with you about transactions, account and award status, corrections, and legal notices. To send marketing communications where lawful, subject to the consent and opt-out mechanisms described below.
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, scraping, and security incidents; to enforce our Terms; to measure and improve the site; and to comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests.
6. Service Providers and Vendors
We disclose personal information to vendors that process it on our behalf and under contract, for the limited purposes described here. The list below reflects the services actually used by this site:
6.1 Base44
Application hosting, database, authentication, and backend functions. Processes substantially all account, profile, order, and submission data.
6.2 Supabase
Database and authentication infrastructure serving as the Expert Honors network system of record.
6.3 Stripe
Payment processing for network orders. Stripe receives payment card details directly and provides us with transaction results and limited billing information. Stripe’s checkout scripts are not loaded on this domain.
6.4 Google Analytics 4
Website analytics. Receives technical and usage data described in the Information Collected Automatically section.
6.5 PostHog
Product analytics, including pageviews and interaction events, used to understand how the site is used.
6.6 Sentry
Application error monitoring. Receives error reports and technical context when something on the site fails.
6.7 Resend and Mailtrap
Transactional and operational email delivery, including order confirmations, award notices, and support replies.
7. Use Across Expert Honors Brands
Because Silent Rich LLC operates Expert Honors and its recognition brands as one legal entity, we may use your information across those brands where reasonably necessary for shared accounts and sign-in, customer support, order fulfillment, recognition administration, fraud prevention, or activity you have requested.
This is internal use within one company, not disclosure to an unrelated third party. Where a specific brand publishes additional privacy terms for its own program, those apply to that brand’s activity.
8. Public Profile Information Versus Private Records
Information published in a directory profile or recognition listing is intended to be public and will be visible to anyone, indexed by search engines, and potentially cached or copied by third parties we do not control. Treat anything you add to a public profile as permanently public.
Account credentials, order and billing records, support messages, consent records, and internal notes are not published. Removing a public profile does not erase these internal records, which we retain as described in the Retention section.
9. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Full payment card numbers are submitted directly to Stripe and are not stored on our systems. We receive and retain transaction records such as the amount, date, product, last four digits, card brand, and billing contact information, which we need for fulfillment, accounting, refunds, and dispute handling.
11. Network Operations, Sponsorships, and Brand-Specific Practices
Expert Honors is the parent platform. Much of the personal information in the network is collected by a specific recognition brand rather than by this site, and some brands collect categories this site does not. Where a brand collects something materially different, that brand’s privacy policy describes it.
Two examples worth naming. MyLegalWin operates a case-value tool that collects health-related information and, where a visitor requests it, transmits an inquiry to an attorney for a fee. Broker Honors loads Google Signals, which may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. Neither practice occurs on this domain, and each is described in that brand’s own policy.
If you submit a sponsorship or advertising inquiry here, we use your contact details and message to respond and to administer any resulting commercial relationship. Sponsorship and advertising relationships do not give a sponsor access to account, order, or inquiry data about other users, and do not affect editorial recognition decisions.
A single account may span brands. If you ask us to delete your information, tell us whether you mean this site or your relationship with the network, because they are not the same request.
12. Retention
We keep information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and then for any period required by law or reasonably necessary to resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Different categories are treated differently.
Order, billing, and tax records are retained for the periods applicable to financial and tax recordkeeping. Consent records are retained for as long as the related relationship exists and afterward as evidence of what was agreed. Editorial and recognition records are retained as part of the historical record, since a past award is a fact about a point in time. Security and error logs are retained on a shorter operational cycle. Support communications are retained as long as useful for service history.
Removing a public profile does not automatically delete order records, consent records, or the underlying recognition record.
13. Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we hold, including access controls, encryption in transit, restricted administrative access, and monitoring.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If you believe your account has been compromised, or if you identify a security issue affecting the site, contact us at the address in the Contact section.
14. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know what personal information we hold about you, to access or receive a copy of it, to correct inaccuracies, to request deletion, to opt out of sale or sharing, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. State laws including those of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and others provide rights along these lines, and the specific rights available depend on the law that applies to you and to us.
To make a request, contact Hello@ExpertHonors.com or write to Silent Rich LLC, 605 W 9th St Ste 1100, Austin, TX 78701. We will ask for information sufficient to verify that the request is genuinely yours, particularly for deletion or access requests, because acting on an unverified request is itself a privacy risk. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.
A request to delete or remove a public professional profile is evaluated against our editorial obligations. We will honor deletion rights that apply to you under law. We may retain an accurate historical recognition record and information we are required or permitted to keep, and we will tell you if that is what we are doing rather than silently declining.
15. Children
This site is directed to professionals and organizations, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
16. Users Outside the United States
We operate in the United States and our vendors process information in the United States. If you access the site from elsewhere, you are sending information to the United States, where privacy laws differ from those in your country.
We have not evaluated this site against the requirements of the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation and we do not claim compliance with them. If you are located in a jurisdiction whose law you believe applies to us, contact us and we will consider the request on its merits.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. The version identifier and Last Updated date at the top identify the published version. For material changes that affect how we use information you already provided, we will provide direct notice and, where required by law, obtain consent, rather than relying on the fact that you continued to browse the site.
18. Privacy Contact
Privacy questions and rights requests: Hello@ExpertHonors.com, or Silent Rich LLC, 605 W 9th St Ste 1100, Austin, TX 78701.
To opt out of sale or sharing, or to limit the use of sensitive personal information, use the same contact and say which you are requesting.
